ComplyADI ("the Platform") is operated by Aadidaivam International Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 506, Hiranandani Signature, GIFT City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India – 382355 ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash).
- Business data you upload: invoices, bank statements, ledgers, GST/TDS details, company identifiers (GSTIN, PAN, CIN, TAN), and related accounting records.
- KYC documents where you provide them for compliance features.
- Usage data: log records of sign-ins and actions, kept for security and audit integrity.
Why we process it
- To provide the bookkeeping, reconciliation, GST/TDS and compliance features you request.
- To extract data from documents you upload, including via AI services acting under our instructions.
- To send transactional messages (verification codes, password resets, reports you request) by email or WhatsApp.
- To meet our own legal obligations and maintain tamper-evident audit records.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your accounting data to train third-party AI models.
Who processes it for us
We use vetted service providers ("data processors") to run the Platform: cloud database and storage (Supabase, hosted in the Mumbai region), application hosting (Vercel), document-extraction AI (Google), transactional email (Resend), and background processing (Render). Each processes data only on our instructions.
Where it lives
Primary data is stored in India (Mumbai region). Some processors may transit data outside India as permitted by applicable law.
How long we keep it
Accounting records are retained while your account is active and as required by Indian law, which can mandate multi-year retention of books of account. You may request deletion of your account; we will delete or anonymise personal data not subject to a legal retention duty.
Security
Encryption in transit, role-based access, row-level security at the database, hash-chained journals for tamper evidence, and access logging on administrative actions.
Your rights
Subject to law, you may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for optional processing. Write to the Grievance Officer below; we respond within statutory timelines.
Cookies
We use only cookies necessary for sign-in and session security. No advertising cookies.
Children
The Platform is for business use by persons 18 years and over.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new "last updated" date; material changes will be notified to account holders.
